Biography
Stéphanie Baril, Ps. Ed.
I've been practicing my profession since 2013, being a member of the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et psychoéducatrices du Québec (OPPQ) and having a master's and a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation from the Université de Montréal. Over the years, I've worked with a wide range of ages, and I've developed a particular interest in elementary school-aged children and mental health, particularly related to anxiety disorders. I've worked in various sectors, including the CLSC, community organizations, and the private sector.
Having worked for several years as a psychoeducator, I continually face a significant challenge, namely that very few tools are bilingual. Although several products exist on the market, very few are offered in various languages, which can become a significant obstacle.
I am currently embarking on a new stage in my career. While I continue to work directly with youth and their families, I also want to spend time creating concrete, bilingual (French/English) tools to support clients and professionals.
